accelerometer_aao.m. Running the main file
carries out 10 optimization runs starting from randomized starting points
and plots the best design found.
To run the files you need the
fmincon constrained minimizer from the
Matlab optimization toolbox. The Matlab implementation was developed
and tested for Matlab release R14.
The micro-accelerometer benchmark may be used as an 'all-in-one' test problem for (mixed-integer) nonlinear contrained optimization algorithms, but has been primarily developed with the intention to serve as a benchmark for multidisciplinary or distributed design optimization methods.
